Born in Macau in 1991, Liang Haisha graduated from the Sculpture Department of the National Taipei University of the Arts and the Master's Program in Creative Department of the National Taipei University of the Arts. Currently based in Taiwan, she is engaged in sculpture creation. Her works are centered around form as the core of expression, drawing inspiration from the postures of life such as plants and seashells found in nature. Through capturing visual experiences that have been deeply gazed upon, she creates lifelike images that evoke inner vibrations. For Liang Haisha, the laborious nature of the sculpting process embodies a profound bodily sense, generating intense tensions in her creations, especially when using stone carving as a transformative process. This slow-paced process allows for the observation of subtle and delicate landscapes in forms. Her delicate and warm works have been selected for the 7th Beijing International Art Biennale, the 64th Yiyang Exhibition Qingmai Award, the 37th Taoyuan Fine Arts Exhibition, the Yilan Award, and the New Taipei City Fine Arts Exhibition. Through the transformation and reference of form, Liang Haisha's works express the budding and passing of life, the beginning and end, and the conversion of energy; utilizing the enduring material power of stone to convey a longing for eternity and endowing her pieces with profound spiritual significance.
